With the opening of a new production hall at the Oudsbergen site, Group Jansen is taking the next step in expanding its own product range. From now on, all of its own products will be developed and produced centrally at this facility. From climate ceilings and modular walls to reveal elements, clean room products and customized joinery. The site forms the beating heart of an integrated product strategy that is committed to quality, scalability and future-proofing.

One central production location
Originally, the first floor was only used as The new site, located at Fabriekstraat 4 in Oudsbergen, will bring together the production of Jansen Wall Solutions, Jansen Ceiling Solutions, Jansen Prefab and Jansen Cleanrooms & Labs in one location. In total, the facility will have a production area of approximately 20,000 m². More than 10,000 m² of Modular walls, 15,000 m² of climate ceilings, more than 13,000 prefabricated finishing elements, 800 km of day edge elements and more than 30,000 cleanroom and laboratory products will be produced here every year.
“Centralizing production creates not only economies of scale, but also more consistent quality control. Production lines, processes and standards are rolled out uniformly, resulting in predictable lead times and a higher level of finishing on site,” says Roel Hendrickx, COO of Makers at Group Jansen.
Combination of automation and craftsmanship
In the new production site, there is a strong focus on a balance between automation and craftsmanship. Modern machinery and optimized workflows support the employees, without losing sight of customization and flexibility. “That combination is essential, as most of the products are used on a project basis and are often adapted to specific architectural or technical requirements,” adds Sarai Bervoets, CCO at Group Jansen.
For Roel Hendrickx, this centralization is a logical next step: “By clustering everything at one location and working with a new warehouse management system and ERP platform, we optimize both production and logistics. That allows us to move faster and support our customers even better, from design to execution.”

Designed for integration
An important added value of centralized production lies in the mutual compatibility of the various products. Partition walls, ceilings, doors, lighting and other components are developed with integration in mind. This results in systems that fit together seamlessly and are easy to combine within one project.
“For architects, design teams, engineering firms, developers and building owners, this means a higher degree of predictability on site. Fewer coordination problems, shorter installation times and a lower error rate contribute to a more efficient construction process and better final quality,” Sarai said.
Sustainability as a structural principle
The new production site also plays a key role in terms of sustainability. Production waste is maximally reused or converted into new product lines. Cicé is a fine example of this. This exclusive line of refined ceramic products was developed on the basis of plaster waste from Jansen Prefab. Group Jansen also invests in energy-efficient techniques, including solar energy and heat pumps, and works with sustainable suppliers.
“The focus on modular and reconfigurable systems also ensures that products can be easily adapted or reused in case of function changes or renovations. This ties in with contemporary sustainability ambitions and contributes to better BREEAM and WELL scores at the project level,” Roel adds.

Ready for further growth
With the new production site, Group Jansen is laying the foundation for further increases in scale. The production lines, infrastructure and teams have been set up with a view to growth, both within the Belgian market and internationally. The close collaboration between production, R&D and project teams is an important asset in this regard.
“Our ambition is not only to use our products within our own projects, but also to position them more broadly in the market,” Sarai concludes. “Thanks to the short lines of communication, technical support and focus on quality, we are better equipped to do that today than ever before.”
