Marcel: “Our R&D department was born out of a demand for more proprietary products. We want to keep and fully utilize as much added value, flexibility, and creativity of each product in-house as possible. Think, for example, of our comfort islands, partition walls, … Our team constantly devises solutions that consist of as few components as possible, but are bursting with application possibilities. Feel free to compare it to Lego.”
A Multidisciplinary Match
“We test every idea for physical performance (e.g., acoustics, stability, …) and give it a wow factor in terms of appearance. That’s the merit of our entire team. Furthermore, we draw on the necessary knowledge and experience from within and outside our group. For our automated doors, for example, we turned to our in-house specialists in automation.
The products we devise and fine-tune together are doing well in the market. For instance, Sharp in Hamont opts for our cleanroom doors, and UAntwerp and Exo Building Dublin enjoy our modular J’Clickd walls. And what performs well, we naturally want to protect. That’s why we patent our solutions as much as possible.”
