The Maastriatlon in Kinrooi welcomed an impressive 1,355 participants who showcased their strength during the first weekend of July. Not only individual athletes were welcome, but teams also came to the starting line. Group Jansen fielded no fewer than 90 participants.
The beautiful Maas lake in Kessenich was the backdrop for the 4th edition of the Maastriatlon. A meticulously organized event where for 3 days, 1,355 athletes, both competitive and recreational, challenged themselves in water, earth, and air. Group Jansen fielded no fewer than 90 participants, making it the company with the highest number of participants. Kessenich turned red!

It must be said: all Jansen athletes came to the start well-prepared and full of enthusiasm. Afterwards, they all agreed on one thing: the wind (up to 7 beaufort!) made swimming, cycling and running extra challenging. However, like our colleagues, they simply took that fierce wind as an ‘extra’ with their sandwich. The many supporters along the course provided the necessary encouragement. And the delicious pasta afterwards was visibly appreciated. In short, a great day. We gladly accept the stiff muscles at the beginning of the work week.
