Group Jansen was responsible for the interior finishing of medical-technical areas and patient rooms at AZ St. Maarten.
Challenge
Strict requirements for hygiene, technology, and safety: that was the challenge at AZ St-Maarten. Each space had to be functional, easy to maintain, and calming at the same time.

Result
A spacious hospital where comfort is a top priority
With a total area of no less than 105,000 m², this brand-new AZ Sint-Maarten hospital houses 654 inpatient beds, a day hospital with 96 beds, and a well-equipped outpatient clinic.
We successfully completed this massive project thanks to the constructive collaboration between eight divisions and subcontractors of Group Jansen.
Some impressive figures: 120 soccer fields’ worth of drywall, 150,000 m² of interior walls, 450,000 running meters of profiles, more than 6,000 interior doors, and 525,000 screws were used in this project.
In addition, we also applied the popular BIM methodology during the construction of this hospital.
