For AZ St-Maarten, Group Jansen was responsible for the interior finishing of medical-technical zones and patient rooms.
Challenge
Strict requirements for hygiene, technology, and safety: that was the challenge at AZ St-Maarten. Each space had to be functional, easy to maintain, and calming at the same time.

Result
A spacious hospital where comfort is key
With a surface area of no less than 105,000 m², this brand-new AZ Sint-Maarten hospital houses 654 hospitalization beds, a day hospital with 96 places, and a well-developed polyclinic.
We brought this gigantic project to a successful conclusion thanks to the constructive collaboration between eight divisions and subcontractors of Group Jansen.
Some impressive figures: 120 football fields of plasterboard, 150,000 m² of interior walls, 450,000 linear meters of profiles, more than 6,000 interior doors, and 525,000 screws were used in this project.
In addition, we also applied the popular BIM working method during the construction of this hospital.
