In the heart of Brussels on Rue Archimède, Group Jansen realized the new offices of Curalia. A place where healthcare providers can count on support, expertise and trust every day. The project combines respect for the character of the existing building with contemporary comfort, acoustics and flexibility. Exactly what an organization like Curalia needs to further strengthen its role for thousands of healthcare professionals.
Challenge
Curalia supports some 25,000 healthcare professionals throughout their careers. This requires a work environment that exudes tranquility and professionalism, but is at the same time efficient and future-proof. The challenge was to redesign a historic building of five floors and a basement into a contemporary office environment. With attention to acoustics, circulation, privacy and technical integrations.
The building was completely stripped down to its shell. To ensure stability and make the renovation possible, as many as 14 poutrelles had to be added. All without losing the character of the building.

Result
Group Jansen took charge of the project from A to Z. The existing structure was respected to the maximum, while the interior finishing was fully adapted to contemporary needs. Clear circulation, pleasant workplaces and quiet consultation zones, realized with J’Clickd Partition walls, formed the common thread, together with sustainable materials. The custom-made furniture was provided by Jansen Joinery and fits perfectly with the daily use and identity of Curalia.
The entire technical installations were carried out by Jansen Energy Solutions, while Jansen Prefab was responsible for supplying the day edges. Jansen Building Projects managed the entire project and ensured smooth coordination of all disciplines. Thanks to the close cooperation between design, execution and project direction, the whole was realized efficiently and in phases. The result is a forward-looking work environment where caregivers feel supported, today and tomorrow.
